Documentary film about GLWF black carbon global research is well in progress.
Film crew with filmmaker Rado Likon, film director Amir Muratović, manager Lidija Honzak and protagonist Matevž Lenarčič spent part of October in Bhutan, unique Kingdom in the heart of Himalaya. On 38 000 km2 live 800 000 people. 72% of Bhutan is covered by forests and 60% is minimum what is written in their constitution. Bhutan is world only carbon negative country. They have beautiful philosophy “Gross National Happiness – GNH” which is measured every second year and GNH index guides the government of Bhutan.
We presented GLW black carbon research to the students of Royal Bhutan University and prime minister dr. Lotay Tshering. We paved the way for good cooperation and next year research in India, Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
