Continuation of the research over Cyprus

Cyprus part of research of non anthropogenic pollution is on the way. Today we flew with Domen as a pilot to Corfu to take on Friday morning route to Larnaca / Cyprus, where we will meet with dr. Luka Drinovec.

The morning was not promising, brain and low clouds prevented us to start at sunrise. After two hours waiting at airfield Slovenske Konjice we finally decided to take-off and tried to find a way to the coast where the weather should be better. Some slaloming over Slovenia, after climb through the clouds toward Senj brought us to sunny Adriatic coast. Corfu most northern island in Greece was hot and humid, but service of Goldair handling was extremely smooth and less expensive than we expected. From Cyprus came information that we can land in Larnaca only between 11. And 17. UTC what means that we can take a breakfast in the morning, what is good for stomach but not so good for climbing in very hot air. Most of the tomorrow route is going to be over water and some beautiful Greek islands.
